WOOO! First post of my beauty blogging endeavor!
I'm imaging this to be a beauty type blog, with reviews and pictures. I know before I purchase anything, I like to see reviews/opinions/pictures on the product, so I hope this blog will help people like me out in the world. I hope to keep this updated, and if you like what you see.. please please follow, and spread the word! :)
But on to the mini haul - Ok, for those of you who don't know about beautyticket.com, it's a website where you can buy makeup for MAJOR discounts. Some items are around 80% off the price you would pay at the store, so everything is very cheap. On top of that, I got an email for 50% off in celebration of their 100th birthday! Scoreee!
When I opened that email I was beyond excited... I could have bought everything if I had enough money, haha. But I instilled some discipline since I have an event that I have to save my money for.. but I still am very happy with what I purchased. I placed my order on Tuesday night, and it was shipped to me today.. it was a super speedy delivery and I was pleasantly surprised.
Anyways, I'm just going to jump right in and show you what I got!
First Impressions:
The packaging was adorable.. it was packed with pink paper streamers!

This adorable little box has 4 compartments:
The first one is one the top, you just flip open the lid and are greeted with 6 pinky lip glosses and a mirror.

These are really pretty colors and have a slight glitter/shimmer effect. The one that first caught my attention was the peachy-ish one on the top right corner. As of now I'm not really much of a lip gloss girl... but that might change (?)
The second and thirst compartments are on the sides, you just pull it out like drawers. It was kinda tough pulling these out..
These are the 4 cheek colors, it includes a dark mauve like color, a peach color, a glittery pink rose color, and a light light bronze color. They are so gorgeous, and I think they would look good with any skin tone.
The last compartment is on the bottom, with 9 eye shadows , a double ended sponge tip applicator and a lip brush.
Again, these were all very shimmery, except for the white one (on the bottom, second last one on the right). They are really nice dark colors, and they are kept in the "pink" theme of this set.
I haven't tried any of these yet, but overall, I think this would make a great gift!

I've been wanting a contour palette for a while now, so I'm excited about this! Plus, this was one of the recommended ones on the site.

So this set includes a contour, a highlight, and a cheek color. The top half is a mirror (its black in the picture cause I used flash :/) and it also includes a little diagram showing you where to apply each color! I just hope these color work for my warm skin tone..
Oh, and not to judge a book by it's cover or anything, but the black packaging is so pretty!
3. Smashbox Reign Fushion Blush in "Regal"

The case is one of the reasons that I bought this, hahaha. The leather on it looks so good!

I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but this is a peachy blush. One side is matte, while the other side is shimmery. I'm definitely excited to use this one.
